So, you’re an artist or a label and you want your work promoted here, right?
All you need to do is send us (submit@bolachas.org) an email containing:
- Artist and album name
- Cover art (uploaded somewhere, minimum 300×300)
- Download link
- A paragraph describing the album / a little review / a press release (but please, keep it small.. big chunks of text aren’t pretty)
- A “buy” link, if you’re selling it
- A myspace or band’s website link.
We can’t promise we’re going to post your album right away. We can’t promise we’ll do it in the same day, week or month. Hell, we can’t even promise we’re going to post it. But we’re going to do our best, as album submissions will play a major role in our new website. At least that’s what I want.
PS: We will not post the stuff you sent us to the old email. Sorry but it would be a pain in the ass browsing through hundreds of emails, as we receive tons of them. So please, if you still want to submit your stuff, do it again.
If you want to send hard copies to review, we’ll be happy to receive and review your album. But send your album on mp3 to reviews@bolachas.org first – more info on the “Contact” page.

Pocket Billiards are a 9-piece band that fuse ska, reggae and dub with punk rock and heavy riffs, creating an energetic and powerful sound. The band released their debut studio album in Oct 09 at a sell-out show in Belfast’s Black Box.
The Billiards are not directly influenced by any one band but draw inspiration from bands such as The Clash, the Specials, Operation Ivy and many, many more. hello.
i don’t really have anything recently new but i just re-uploaded the five free pork records sampler cds from 2k6/7 into our bandcamp for free download or donation towards receiving future vinyl… porkrecords.bandcamp.com… most of the tracks are previously unreleased, alternate versions, or just plain hard to find.
i also plan on releasing another set of seasonal samplers this year if anyone’s interested in taking part… just read the simple submission guidelines on the myspace or the blog for details, and please no CMOs… there will be no cd pressing done like before only free digital download and a small 250-500 pressing on vinyl depending on the amount of donations/investments recieved per sampler… we’re non-profit so that’s the way it’s done… the more people donate the better chance you have of getting more vinyl for less… minimum suggested donation is $5 for one lp, which may turn into up to 3 for five it it goes to larger press… hope it all works out well… also looking for silk-screen and regular print cover designers too.
